Knowledge that is hard to find
Engineering knowledge that is difficult to locate, or that depends on individual employees rather than being available to the team.
TCBB Engineering develops practical solutions to engineering and maintenance challenges, with a focus on better information, more effective processes and continuous improvement. Plant & People is the on-site plant platform.

Engineering teams need reliable information, consistent processes and visibility of what is happening across their operation. These are common industry challenges, not claims about any specific site.
01
Engineering knowledge that is difficult to locate, or that depends on individual employees rather than being available to the team.
02
Maintenance information spread across disconnected records and processes, making a clear picture of the plant harder to keep.
03
Difficulty tracking spare parts, work, competencies and training together.
04
Limited visibility of recurring issues, maintenance effectiveness and future requirements.
Plant & People
Plant & People sits on the plant’s own network. It is not a cloud service. It is a modular build: separate modules and bundles will be available, and they pass information between them. It was designed by an engineer with more than 25 years of experience in maintenance.
Tell us whether you would want separate modules, or the whole package. Send your view.
People, machines, shifts and backups — the setup the rest of PaP uses.
The part, the method and the isolation for each machine.
What is open, who has it, and what still needs doing.
What planned maintenance is due, late, or signed off.
The storeman sees the parts for a job before the engineer is told that job is scheduled.
Who can do the work, and who is still being trained.
Comes later and is not needed to start.
Tools for real engineering and maintenance work, not generic software features.
Information that is easier to find, maintain and use when it is needed.
Separate modules and bundles will be available. Used together, they pass information between them.
Development informed by testing and customer feedback, so the software can keep improving.
Have an idea that could make PaP better? Let's talk. We won't dismiss a reasonable suggestion without looking at what's practicable. No empty promises, just an honest assessment.
Things Can Be Better is more than a name. It reflects our approach to development: be clear about what a solution can do, recognise where it can improve, and use feedback to make it better.
We believe customers should have the information they need to make their own decisions, without exaggerated promises or unnecessary pressure.
If a job on your plant needs something PaP does not do yet, ask for it. We'll look into it and see what's practicable.
